Gov. Umahi appoints Principal Secretary, SAs

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State  has appointed Honourable Emmanuel Obasi as his new Principal  Secretary.

This was contained in a general public announcement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Ugbala Kenneth Igwe in Abakaliki, the state capital on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

Before his elevation, Obasi was the deputy principal secretary to the Governor.

He, alongside other appointees will be inaugurated on Wednesday, 30th June, 2021 in the Executive Council Chamber, Old Government House, Abakaliki at 2.00pm.

Others appointed were: Ogbuefi Enekwachi Akpa – Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Local Government and Rural Development.

Prince Sunday Ugwuocha – Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Environment.

Jennifer Adibe Nwafor – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor on Labour Matters.

Amauche Otunta Godwin – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor, Government House.

Mrs Patience Offor-Okorie – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor, Her Excellency’s Office.

Comrade Gideon Onwe – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor on Student Affairs.

Mr Simon Anyigor – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor on Education.

Engr. Felix Otta – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor on Ring Road Project.

Engr. Obinna Ibaki – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor on Airport Project.

Mr Onyeabor Ngene – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor on Special Duties.
