Umunnem na APC, I, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo (Overdose) is as passionate as you are about this party. I believe in the ideals of the party and I have enormous respect for members of the State Working Committee, Local Government and Ward Working Committee and indeed every member of the party who has endured all manners of discrimination to remain with this our great party. Indeed, nothing has energised my resolve to become the flagbearer of the APC in the forthcoming Anambra gubernatorial election than my desire to see that the long-suffering members of the party get rewarded after years of patience.
My dear party members, remember that when the Covid-19 lockdown, threatened to make life miserable for most of us, I defied the odds and ameliorated the situation for many of the party members. During the Christmas Season I was also with you and did what I could do to put smiles on our faces. I have given the party a new face and has ensured that members of our Local Government Executives got cars so that they can perform their functions effectively. Recall that I was the first aspirant to embark on a tour of all the 326 wards in the state in October 2020. In all I have done politically, I have put the members of the party at the centre of our plans.
As we go into the primary election today, I seek your friendship and support at the poll. Our party, the APC is at a pivotal point in history. Weakened by intentional and concerted propaganda, we need something unusual and revolutionary to steer the ship of our party to the promised land. Our party needs a new face, a face that will rebrand the party to a brand that the discerning public can easily connect with. I am that face and I am absolutely sure that I have all it takes to lead the party to Agu Awka as your Governorship Candidate. Make no mistake, I am the innovation that the party needs!
My dearest party men and women. Let’s change the course of victory forever. A vote for me is a vote for APC in Agu Awka. It is a vote that would trigger the entrenching of a veritable reward system within the party in the state. I represent the future and I seek your partnership in this future to build an Anambra and a party that works for all.
