Buhari hails former IGP Solomon Arase at 65

365Daily – President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated former Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, on the occasion of his 65th birthday.

This was contained in a message signed by his Spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina, in Abuja on Monday, June 21, 2021.

The President wished Arase, who described as a “decorated officer”, the very best in health and strength as he continues to serve the nation, especially in advocacy.

He noted the reforms that the celebrant made in the Nigerian Police Force, and how he deployed his wealth of experience gathered from working and training in many parts of the world to visualise and domesticate operations.

Buhari also commended Arase’s leadership when he held sway as the topmost intelligence gathering unit of the Nigerian police, Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Bureau.

Hr joined family members, friends and associates of the versatile retired officer in celebrating another milestone, ”coloured with recognitions from achievements of serving at national and international duties.”
