365Daily – Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has pleaded not guilty for a four-count charge of  sexual assault and indecent treatment of a child.

He was arraigned before a Yaba Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

Baba Ijesha was accused of sexually assaulting a 14 year-old minor, who is the foster child of popular comedienne, Adekola Adekanya, otherwise known as Princess.

However, his case could not proceed to court due to the industrial action by the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria, hence his arraignment  in court on Wednesday for the hearing of the case.
