JAMB announces new date for 2021 UTME

365Daily – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a new date for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

JAMB Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede, made this known after a stakeholders meeting on Saturday, May 15, 2021, in Abuja.

He also announced an extension of the registration of candidates for the 2021 UTME and Direct Entry (DE), saying it will now start from 19 June to 3 July, 2021.

Oloyede also disclosed that the mock exam will now take place on May 29, 2021, while the registration which was supposed to end on Saturday (today) has been extended by two weeks.

The exam was earlier scheduled to hold from Saturday, 5th to Saturday, 19th June, 2021.

JAMB had on Friday said over 600,000 potential candidates were unable to register for the exam following issues with the mandatory use of National Identification Number.
