Hoodlums raze police station in Abia

365Daily – Ubani Market Police Station in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State has been razed down by hoodlums suspected to be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

According to DailyTrust, the attack by the men who were armed happened in the early hour of Sunday, May 9, 2021.

No life was lost in the incident as officers of the station were relocated from the place to a station close to TradeMoore Housing Estate days before.

The Southeast has become the latest flashpoint as the country grapples with its security challenges.

On Saturday, May 8, gunmen on rampage in Rivers and Akwa- Ibom killed 11 police officers.
