The Secretary of APC Revalidation/Registration in Lagos State, Chief Anthony Ogah has said, his Committee’s assignment was made easy because of the sterling performance of the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Speaking with 365Daily at the weekend, Ogah explained that the turnout was intimidating to the extent that the Committee ran out of Registration Revalidation materials within the first week of commencement.
“We were overwhelmed with the turnout in Lagos. While other states were complaining of low turnout and different hiccups, the Lagos Committee that I serve as secretary was asking for more materials.”
Ogah attributed the massive turnout of people for the exercise in Lagos to convincing performance of the All Progressives Congress, APC, led Government in the state.
“Why won’t people keep faith with a party under whose leadership their tax money is working wonders? Look around Lagos and you will not need to think far, why Lagosians are running head over heels on membership of APC.”
The politician explained that, when he visited the newly commissioned 149-bed Dr Aisha Buhari Mother and Child Maternal and Child Centre (MCC) located at Alimosho Area of the state, he was jaw-dropped.
“Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is a rare breed politician. Why do I say so? you know most of our hospitals are combined. Where adults are receiving treatement is the same hospital children are also been treated. Given the delicate nature of children and health cases that are particular to women, you will applaud the Governor’s decision to build Special Hospital for Woman and Children.”
He said every part of Lagos is experiencing a new lease of life, reiterating that with the just concluded maintanace work on Third Mainland bridge and plans to lay foundation for the 4th Mainland Bridge, it will be difficult for any party to defeat the APC at any election in Lagos State.
