The former governor said the APC membership registration/revalidation was to put in place to ensure effective membership register that would boost the party’s status.

He said the APC constitution made provision for the registration, saying that it was also aimed at giving both existing and new members sense of belonging.

“The registration exercise gives our new members a sense of belonging and the existing members will update their information while those who left the party will have their names removed from the party register,” he said.

Yuguda lauded the smooth conduct of the exercise in the state, urging existing members of the party to revalidate their membership, while calling on new members to register as members of the party.
