The Chairman of Akwa Ibom State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Udo Ekpenyong, has allegedly died.
Ekpenyong reportedly passed on in in the early hours of Tuesday from Covid-19 complications.
Details of his rumoured demise was sketchy as neither the state government nor the party in the state had issued any official statement on it.
Calls by the Nation to the State Publicity of the PDP, Mr. Borono Bassey, were not answered as at the time of filing this report.
