365Daily – Nigerian singer, Timaya, has apologised to Ikechukwu Asuoha, the husband of popular comedienne, Real Warri Pikin, real name Anita Asuoha, for an incident that happened over the weekend in Dallas, Texas.
The singer performed at the 2026 AFRIMMA Awards in Dallas where Real Warri Pikin was honoured with the Best Stand Up Comedian award, marking another recognition of her work in the Nigerian comedy scene.
However, it was her interaction with Timaya during his performance that caught the attention of fans.
While Timaya was performing, she joined him on stage and danced alongside the singer who lifted her up.
In a playful reaction to the moment, Timaya jokingly called out her husband, Ikechukwu, saying, “Ikechukwu, no vex for me oo.”
The remark immediately drew attention from fans, with the light hearted exchange adding another memorable moment to the awards ceremony.
