Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE and Kuwait report Iranian attacks on energy sites after Israel struck Iran’s South Pars gasfield, an escalation that has lifted oil and gas prices.
United States President Donald Trump said Israel acted out of “anger” and will not attack the South Pars gasfield again.
Riyadh says “the little trust that remained in Iran has been completely shattered” as tensions grow between Iran and Gulf powers.
Meanwhile, more than a dozen people have been killed in the region in recent hours, including in Iran, Lebanon, Gaza and the Occupied West Bank.
Speaking at a press briefing at the Pentagon, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth warned Iran against target its allies in the Gulf region.
“Iran has the ability to make the right choices. It should not, going forward target Arab allies, Arab countries, trying to create pain,” he said.

Speaking at a new conference in the Pentagon, he said Washington is looking at the metrics of the war closely and relaying that to the president and national security team.
“We’re very much on plan, and that’s why I want to speak to the American people here. You hear a lot of noise about widening and speculation about what we should and should not be doing. But there is a clear set of objectives, and the president has given us every capability we need to accomplish that,” he added.
Several world leaders and observers have criticised the US for attacking Iran, saying Washington was not under an imminent threat.
