NTA Kebbi refutes claims of poor workers’ welfare

Kebbi State branch of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) has reacted to what it refers as injurious, fallacious and image dragging report claiming poor staff welfare the station.

The General of the branch, Ali Garba described the report as figments of imagination as NTA is known nationwide as responsible, credible and leading public media outfit with hundreds of reporters across the country.

“The false poor welfare report claimed that some anonymous staff made the poor welfare claim, while it is on record that all staff of NTA are known therefore.

“We don’t have any unknown staff. The person who made the claim is not our staff, because we don’t have anonymous staff”, he said.

Garba distance NTA  Kebbi from what he called misleading report that has no relation with the station.

He noted that Kebbi station of NTA remains upbeat in terms staff welfare despite operating under a very difficult conditions of using generating sets amid low power supply and low advertisements.

“The head office is up to date in terms of welfare of its outstation staff, therefore we challenge the so-called NTA staff parading poor staff welfare to come out and speak”, he dared.
