The Youth Network for Peace and Development Initiatives in Bauchi State has commended the great efforts of Bauchi State Vigilante and Youth Empowerment Agency for tackling criminal activities in Bauchi State.
This development was disclosed to journalists shortly after a courtesy call to the agency led by Dr Ibrahim Shehu, the leader of the network and his entourage.
The network chairman stated that this agency under the leadership of Commander General Umar Shayi, so much has been recorded in terms of successes in the areas of total commitment in the elimination of bandits, banditry, cattle-rustling kidnappers, phone snatching and various forms of criminal activities across the state.
Meanwhile he noted that this has only been achieved in collaboration with all conventional security agencies across the state.
The leader of the youth network equally pointed out that Governor Bala Mohammed has been doing his best in bringing total peace and development In Bauchi State.
The leader called on all the citizens of the state to pray for the development of Bauchi state and the success of Governor Bala Mohammed-led administration.
Responding, the Commander General of the agency Dr Umar Aliyu Shayi appreciated the group for the visit and commended them for being so passionate in the development of the state and peace building process.
He stated that Governor Bala Mohammed has been supporting the agency with all forms of assistance to enable her implement its core mandates in accordance with the law.
