The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has revealed that its chairmanship nomination and expression of interest forms for the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, councils election would be sold for N20,000,000 for those interested while that of councillorship go for N2,500,000.
According to timetable and schedule of activities for the 2026 area council elections released by the party on Tuesday, women and people with disability would be expected to pay only for expression of interest while the nomination form would be free.
Also, youth who are between the ages of 25 to 40 years can only pay for the expression of interest and 50 percent for nomination form.
APC further stated that only members who are financially up-to-date are eligible to vote and be voted for in the said primary elections on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
