The National Center for Technology Management (NACETEM), and agency of the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology will host a one-day sensitization workshop and stakeholder engagement focused on Nigeria’s STI Indicator Dashboard to aid Data-Driven Decision Making. The event is scheduled for November 1st, 2024, at the Cyprian Ekwensi Center for Arts and Culture Complex in Area 10, Garki, FCT-Abuja.
Accordiing to the Director-General of NACETEM, Dr. Olushola Odusanya, the workshop aims to provide an advocacy platform for stakeholders regarding the Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Indicator Dashboard Version 1.0, developed by NACETEM for Nigeria.
He said Version 1.0 is an advanced dashboard compared to the 2023 version and it can be assessed at https://stinigeria.com/sti-indicator, and that participants will learn how to effectively use the dashboard and its relevance to comprehensive monitoring of the STI ecosystem, while providing valuable feedback on potential areas for improvement in attaining predictive analytics.
Invitations have been extended to various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, MDAs, as well as organizations from both the public and private sectors, including the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria, Abuja Investment Company Limited, Corporate Affairs Commission, Federal Character Commission, Nigeria Customs Service, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
This follows NACETEM’s recent one-day training workshop on “Enhancing IT-Organizational Excellence: Talent Management and Capability Development,” held on October 14, 2024.
