Popular Nigerian singer, Duncan Mighty, has accused his wife and her family of trying to kill him in order to inherit his properties.
This is not the first time the couple will be trending over marital issues. In 2018, Duncan Mighty was accused of brutalising his wife after pictures of her bruised face surfaced online. He accused detractors of trying to ruin his marriage then after denying beating her up.
The musician, in a lengthy Instagram post, said he had evidence and a confession from his wife, Vivian, that she connived with her mother and siblings to use dark powers to kill him.
He alleged that her family talked occasionally about his many properties and how they will share it among themselves if anything happened to him.
Duncan Mighty posted, “She said….they always talk about my too many properties and investments at this young age, most especially being an only child; imagine if anything happens to me, that they choose by themselves the property to inherit, most especially her elder sister Maria Nwakanma.”
He added that she procured charms to add in his food to poison it and his bathing water to incapacitate him for a long time before finally killing him.
The singer also alleged that his wife confessed to trying to cut his toe and fingernails to give to native doctors to prepare charms but the plan failed.
He added that she made the confession to him unconsciously as she regained her senses after she revealed the whole plan which he recorded. The musician said she left afterwards and called it quits with the marriage.
