Niger lawmaker, Phalal Bako, donates books, school bags to 23 schools

365Daily– The Lawmaker representing Kontagora 1 State Constituency in the Niger State House of Assembly, Hon. Phalal Bako Kontagora, has donated thousands of school supplies to pupils in his constituency.

The donation, which was made to 23 Schools on  on Monday, October 18, 2021, included 1,000 school bags, 1,000 lunch boxes and 3,500 exercise books.

Schools covered by the donations are:

1) Masuga primary school
2) Lioji primary school
3) Dogon Fadama primary school
4) Mangu primary school
5) U.B.E Barumi
6) U.B.E Baturen Noma
7) Kampanin Waya Primary School
8) Babban Lamba primary School
9) Rijiyan Daji primary School
10) Magauta primary School
11) Uguwan Bala primary School
12) Rafin Karma primary school
13) Farin Shinge primary school
14) Rijiyan Nagwamtse primary school
15) Farin gida primary school
16) Rimaye primary school
17) Zango primary School
18) UBE Model
19) Majidadi primary school
20) Central primary School
21) Army children
22) Saidu Namaska primary school
23) Ubandoma primary School.

Speaking at the event, the lawmaker, represented at the occasion by his campaign DG, said the the school supplies were meant to alleviate the weight on parents at this difficult period.

He expressed hope that the pupils will find them useful in a way to aid their studies. Also, teachers, parents and pupils expressed their excitement following the gifts. They thanked the lawmaker for his gesture.

Many dignitaries graced the occasion including members of the Bako campaign organisation and the constituency’s central working committee.
