A high court in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State has given an order of injection restraining former Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Abubakar Malami-led faction of African Democratic Congress (ADC) from parading themselves as members of the party.
Justice Sabiu B. Shuaibu who gave the injunction stated that the suspended chairman of the party, Sufiyanu Bala, Hausa, Muhammed and Sule Iko are by this order not allowed legally parade themselves as party chairmen, deputies and secretaries pending a matter before a competent court.
The injunction was delivered on October 14, 2025 in Birnin Kebbi making the activities of the suspended chairmen as illegal and doing so amount to contempt of court.
However, addressing journalists at the party’s secretariat, the recognized and lawful Kebbi State chairman of ADC, Abdulrazaq Isah Iko warned those affected by the injunction to desist from parading themselves as leaders of ADC in Kebbi State as the long arm of the law will catch up with them.

“Let me sternly warn the impostors to obey the court order and stop any activity related to ADC Kebbi State or have themselves to blame”, he added.
Iko reiterated that there is only one ADC in Kebbi State the one he was appointed interim state chairman alongside other excos of the party pending congress.
