National Library reaffirms commitment to children’s right to education in Bauchi

She used the event to call on the general public, parents and all critical stakeholders across Bauchi State by extension Nigeria to support development of education

The National Library of Nigeria, Bauchi State Branch has restated absolute commitment to children rights, commitment and well-being as it celebrated the year 2025 International Children Day in Bauchi State.

Speaking, Mrs Regina Olohiliye Ngorngor, Assistant Director and who doubles as the Head of National Library of Nigeria in Bauchi noted that the Library has put children at heart of all her developmental agenda in the interest of National development, growth and prosperity across the country in promoting the reading culture, newly inclined technology innovations on artificial intelligence among others as one the core objectives of the National Librarian/ Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Prof. C.V. Anunobi .

Mrs Ngorngor’s passion and commitment to introduce young children to STEM EDUCATION in library at early was remarkable. She also stated that the library is not just a reading room but a training room.

She used the event to call on the general public, parents and all critical stakeholders across Bauchi State by extension Nigeria to support development of education, research initiatives towards improving governance and democracy education, which notably includes inclusive reaching out to school children.

Meanwhile she pointed out that the significance of parents, guardians and community leaders to support President Bola Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ by putting Nigeria on the global map of educational development

The colorful event was highly organized and characterized by colorful dance performances, inspiring messages of hope from various speakers who came from far and near to grace the occasion.
