BUA Foundation distributes food to over 500 vulnerable persons in Kebbi

We must commend him for the gesture because he is not the only rich man in the north but he chose to assist the poor and orphans

The Abdulsamad Rabiu Initiative, supported by UMMUAMEENA Foundation, on Monday, distributed food packages to four hundred poor women and one hundred orphans in Kebbi State.

Speaking to newsmen at Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic convocation ground, shortly after the distribution, Kebbi State coordinator, Dr Badiyya said that the kind gesture from the famous business mogul was geared towards reducing the effects of hardship particularly during Ramadan fasting.

“We must commend him for the gesture because he is not the only rich man in the north but he chose to assist the poor and orphans”.

Badiyya noted that poor women were drawn from zones in Kebbi state including far away Zuru using credible committee who knows the real needy and orphans and were given the assistance.

The food packs include 20 pieces of spaghetti noodles, gallon of power oil, cubes of seasoning, 25kg of rice, 25kg of millet and cash token to all the beneficiaries carefully selected by the committee.

One of the beneficiaries, Hajiya Uwani Nagambo thanked the business mogul for the kind gesture and the organisers for the peaceful distribution.
