Nigeria plunged into third total blackout in 1 week

Allocation to power distribution companies was 0.00MW when the grid collapsed again Saturday morning.

Again, the National grid collapsed on Saturday morning, making it the third time the nation experienced total blackout in the space of one week

The grid earlier tripped off on Monday and was restored about nine hours later, only to collapse again on Tuesday and subsequently restored.

The power grid, went off again on Saturday around 8:16am.

It was observed that the power generation which was 3,042 megawatts as at 8 am, peaked at 3,968MW at 7 am but dropped to 47MW as of 9 am.

Allocation to power distribution companies was 0.00MW when the grid collapsed again Saturday morning.
