365Daily – The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has described the reported teargas attack on October 1 protesters in Utako Market, Abuja, by its personnel as false.
Some Nigerians had converged in the Utako area to protest economic hardship and worsening conditions of living in the country.
In a press statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, FCT police command, SP Josephine Adeh in Abuja on Tuesday, the police said it “only took proactive measures to prevent looting.”
