The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, of the Nigerian Police Force, FCT Command, SP Josephine Adeh, has expressed displeasure over constant criticism of police officers despite their efforts to maintain peace and ensuring security in the country.

Adeh who expressed her worries via her X handle @Jossy_Dannyking, on Thursday, said it is unfortunate that the police work does not receive commendation by the public who are the direct beneficiaries, but only condemnation.

According to her, “I’ve come to realize that police work is often a thankless job. Despite all we do, including risking our lives, we still face criticism from the public. Our officers are out there day and night, ensuring the safety of citizens, yet their efforts often go unnoticed”.
