Eid-el-Kabir: Alia urges Muslims to show love, tolerance, sacrifice

He urged the Muslim faithful to continue to pray and support his administration and that of the Bola Tinubu-led federal government, as it strives hard to fulfil its electoral mandate to the people

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has charged Muslim Ummah in the state to ensure they spray the love, sacrifice, tolerance and unity as preached by the Holy Prophet.

The governor gave the charge in a goodwill massage to felicitate with the Muslim faithful in Benue as they celebrate this year’s Eid-El-Kabir, which is a significant spiritual event in the Muslim calendar.

Governor Alia in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, weekend in Makurdi, urged the Muslim faithful to continue to pray and support his administration and that of the Bola Tinubu-led federal government, as it strives hard to fulfil its electoral mandate to the people.

While expressing optimism that the state and country would surely overcome its current challenges, the
cleric-governor wished the Muslim faithful a happy Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
