365Daily – The list of nominees to serve in the cabinet of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been submitted to the Senate.
It was presented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, during Thursday plenary.
This followed a closed door meeting by the senators after receipt of the letter was announced by Senate President Godswill Akpabio and a motion to admit Gbajabiamila moved by the House Leader, Sen. Opeyemi Bamidele, and adopted.
The much awaited 28-man list, dated 27, July, 2023, contained the names of David Umahi, ex-Ebonyi State Governor, former Kaduna Governor, Nasir El-Rufai; former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and that former Jigawa State Governor, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar.
All Progressives Congress (APC) women leader, Dr. Betta Edu; Prof. Ali Pate of Gavi Vaccine Alliance, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN); Hannatu Masawa; Stella Okotete; Presidential spokesman, Dele Alake also appeared on the list.
