The immediate past minister of state for Employment and chief spokesperson for Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Organization, Mr. Festus Keyano, has condemned the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, for speaking against the removal of fuel subsidy by the President Bola Tinubu- led administration.
Keyano who posted his displeasure on his Twitter handle said the NLC adopted candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, who also vowed to remove fuel subsidy, but later turned around to attack Tinubu for doing so.
According to him, “All the major parties and candidates agreed that fuel subsidy would go IMMEDIATELY. The Nigeria Labour Congress fully endorsed the candidature of Peter Obi who supported removal of subsidy.
“They are now saying they told him they were not in support of that. When? On what occasion? Where is the communique?
“Did NLC make that communique public? However, it was even outlawed before the elections”.
