365Daily – Following Saturday’s 9-0 defeat by Liverpool, the Bournemouth board decided to call it quits with its team coach, Scott Parker.
Bournemouth co-owner Maxim Demin announced afterwards that the search for a new head coach will ”begin immediately”.
In the interim, Gary O’Neil will oversee the team, assisted by Shaun Cooper and Tommy Elphick, as they prepare to host Wolves on Wednesday.
Parker oversaw a successful promotion push last season, but has had it tough back among the elite and summer transfer market. Parker left Fulham and took charge of Bournemouth 14 months ago, guiding them to promotion to the Premier League behind his former club last season.
