365Daily – The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso, has settled for Bishop Isaac Idahosa as his running mate for the 2023 general elections.
This was disclosed by the Party on its official Twitter page on Thursday, July 14, 2022
Idahosa is the Senior Pastor of God First Ministry (Illumination Assembly), which is located in Ajah, Lagos State.
Before unveiling PastorIdahosa, who is from Edo State, there had been speculations that the NNPP was going to adopt former CBN Director, Kingsley Moghalu, as its presidential running mate.
This is sequel to failed attempts by Sen. Kwankwaso, a former Governor of Kano State, to woo Peter Obi, a fellow presidential aspirant of Labour Party, and ex-Anambra Governor, to be his running mate.
He had repeatedly said Labour Party cannot win the 2023 presidential elections.
Some days back, he said while appearing on a Channels TV programme that he would support the presidential aspirant of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, if he jettisoned his ambition.
