365Daily – The presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has explained that he visited Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, to discuss vital national issues.
On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, Obi visited Wike, who in May aspired for the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and came second, at his private residence in Port Harcourt.
The former Anambra State Governor, via his official Twitter handle, said: “Earlier today, I visited Port Harcourt, to confer with H.E. @GovWike on vital issues of national interest.”
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State was also reported to have visited Wike yesterday in Port Harcourt, but details about the meeting were not disclosed.
Wike was one of three people considered for runnimg mate to the flagbearer of the PDP, Abubakar Atiku, who chose Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State.
