365Daily– The murder trial of late Nigerian gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, has been postponed to June 20 and 21.
It was supposed to start on Thursday, 16 June, but for the absence of the trial judge in court.
The deceased’s husband, Peter Nwachukwu, is facing a 23 count charge of domestic violence and homicide.
He, however, pled not guilty.
Osinachi’s death in April this year sparked widespread outrage after her family and associates alleged that she suffered domestic abuse by her husband for years.
An episode of the abuse reportedly led to her hospitalisation and subsequent death, but her husband has maintained that she died from cancer.
