365Daily – Former members of the House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have felicitated the new Chairman of the party, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, and other members of the new leadership on their emergence.
In a letter addressed to the APC Chairman on Monday, March 28, 2022, signed by its Chairman protem, Hon. Ibrahim Zailani, the APC Former House of Representatives Members Forum assured him and the National Executive Committee (NEC) of their “unalloyed support and loyalty.”
They further expressed confidence in the capacity and capability of the Adamu-led leadership of the party, adding that the experience garnered over the years by Sen. Adamu would assist him in engendering unity and progress in the APC.
The letter read on part: “We are elated because we know you are a square peg in a square hole who has come at the most appropriate time when our great party needs repositioning for the onerous responsibilities ahead of it as the ruling party, more importantly, the 2023 elections which should be won by the APC squarely.
“No doubt, your excellency, the tremendous experience you have garnered over the years will serve to assist you in providing the requisite leadership that will engender unity and progress in our party.
“On our part as major stakeholders in the party, we assure you and other members of NEC of our unalloyed support and loyalty always.”
