365Daily – The Presidential aspirant on the platform of the Social Democratic party in the 2023 elections, Cesnabmihilo Dorothy Nuhu-Aken’ova, has declared that the party will win the presidential election and provide a credible government .
Speaking in Lagos after her visit to the SDP Secretariat, Nuhu-Aken’ova, declared that the SDP will rescue the country from its present mess and hopelessness and restore the country to its rightful position.
Dorothy is a feminist, Founder and Executive Director of the International Centre for Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (INCRESE), a non-governmental organization situated and doing grassroots work in the Shari’a North of Nigeria and advocacy work globally.
She was also in Oyo and Ogun state secretariats of the party in continuation of her familiarization visits.
While in Ibadan, she affirmed, the SDP will unseat the ruling APC as the SDP is credible, focused and determined to put in place a more humane government that will be responsible and responsive to the needs of Nigerians.
She noted that the party was ready to defeat all the opposition parties in the forthcoming elections.
She said being a female will not be a barrier as she is ready to conquer all the obstacles and become the president of Nigeria with the supports of the party and well meaning Nigerians .
She declared that, the chances are very high.According to her, very few people would have given the All Progressives Congress (APC) any chance against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), but God rewarded the efforts of Nigerians. Even now, we are better prepared and equipped to do the needful
“we know better what we want. This is the time for us to come together and there are lots of works that are ongoing to ensure that SDP unseats the ruling party so that the right people can come on board and run things better.
“We were robbed of the opportunity in 1993 general elections, so this is the time for the country to demonstrate that the 1993, was a mistake and time to give the SDP another chance to make things work in Nigeria.
“My visit to the party offices is symbolic, I’m ready to make a statement in the 2023 presidential election. let’s give women the chance to play a part in politics in Nigeria.”
