The APC convention is scheduled to hold on February 26.
This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the protem Chairman and Secretary of the APC former House of Representatives members forum, Ibrahim Zalaini and Idris Yahuza, respectively.
The statement issued on Monday, January 31, 2022, added that “the road to 2023” will also be discussed at the roundtable meeting, alongside presentations by Katsina State Governor, Hon. Aminu Bello Masari and his Zamfara counterpart, Bello Matawalle, among others.
It said: “The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the state of our party, issues, challenges, the forthcoming APC national convention, and the road to 2023.
“Keynote speakers at the event include former members like governors of Katsina and Zamfara states, Hon. Aminu Bello Masari and Bello Matawalle; minister of state for education, Hon. Chukwemeka Nwajiuba; minister of aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika; former minister of state for mines and steel development, Hon. Bawa Bwari; former speaker, Dimeji Bankole; Patricia Etteh, among others.”
The forum urged all its members to endeavour to attend the meeting “in order to be able to aggregate opinions on sundry political issues”.
