365Daily– Super Eagles interim coach, Augustine Eguaveon, has stated that the sacked coach, Gernot Rohr deserves credit for assembling the crop of players, which he (Eguavoen) inherited.
Eguavoen said his predecessor had done 98 per cent of the job and deserves commendations even if the Eagles win the cup.
Eguavoen said, “There’s no way we aren’t going to give Rohr credit because he’s the one who put this team together.
“We inherited a team of about 98% he put together. He did a good job assembling these boys.
“If we win AFCON, it’s for everyone, not just me alone.”
