Wizkid emerged Afrima Artiste of the Year, Best song of the Year and Collaboration of the Year for ‘Essence’ featuring Tems.
Fally Ipupa won Best Male Artiste in Central Africa twice consecutively while Shan’L won Best Female Central Africa.
Cameroonian singer, Naomi Achu, won Best Female Artiste in the Diaspora.
Shanah Manjeru was the youngest nominee this year and she became the youngest Afrima holder after winning Best African Artiste in Inspirational Music.
Eddy Kenzo topped the nomination for Diamond Platnumz as he emerged Best Artiste in East Africa. Nikita Kering, who had been on fire this year, won best Female in Central Africa.
