365Daily – Residents of Ojekunle Street, Papa Ajao area of Lagos, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, woke up to experience a disaster of gas explosion, which occurred around 8am where many lives were feared dead and a lot of people injured.
According to an eyewitness account, many bodies were taken away from the scene with more feared trapped.
This is coming few weeks after there was a kerosene explosion at Kubwa market in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, where over 10 people lost their lives and many are still receiving treatment.
According to a resident, Ogonnaya Chukwu, the issue of explosion has taken a very worrisome dimension. She cautioned that inflammable substances should be sited far away from residential areas to avert future occurrences.
