365daily – Professor Chukwuma Soludo, candidate of the victorious All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the Saturday governorship election in Anambra State, has said that young children in his community, Isuofia, have besieged his house in early celebration of his yet to be announced electoral victory.
The soon to be announced governor-elect, haven won most of the local government election votes already declared, made this known in his Facebook page on the evening of Sunday, November 7, 2021.
The highly elated Soludo wrote: “My wife and I had a special moment this evening with some children of our local community.
“While I was catching up on the live telecast of the election result collation, these precious ones besieged my house in celebration of our “yet to be declared victory”.
“This is me trying to explain to them that we must wait for the official pronouncement by INEC before we celebrate. They had obviously been told otherwise by their parents; we eventually came to some mutual agreement and they dispersed, dropping far-reaching requests that I will share much later.
“The understanding these little children exude can be infectious. How they tend to believe even before they see is a strong lesson in faith.”
