365Daily – The winner of Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye edition, Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney, has urged the organisers of Big Brother Nigeria show, to stop admitting married people into the reality show.
He said this in a recent interview with Media Room Hub.
Citing an example with the experience of his co-contestant, Tega Dominic, Whitemoney said married people are not immune to sexual temptations because of their marital status and could find if difficult to ignore some distractions.
365Daily recalls that Tega and another housemate, Boma, who is unmarried, had gotten involved in a relationship while in the Big Brother House, leading to widespread condemnation and cyber bullying even after the end of the show.
The season 6 winner stated: “Big Brother, you know I love you so much, you made me a star, you always do anything I ask for me, if you could just do one thing for me.
“For the sake of the platform, get married folks off the show. Many people commented that this year’s version taught them a lot.
“Married people are humans, and not everyone has the zeal to wade through distraction. Tega, for example, is still reeling from her last appearance on the show, as is Boma. They are still being dragged by the supporters today.”
The duo of Tega and Boma have apologised to the public for their behaviour, saying they were only acting out for the show.
