– Says the APC will campaign on its infrastructure trackload
The Director-General of the Sen. Andy Uba Gubernatorial Campaign Council, Sir Paul Chukwuma has stated the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra will take its campaign to all the nooks and crannies of Anambra State in order to convince the voters in the state to cast their votes for Sen. Andy Uba.
Speaking during the massive reception held for Sen. Andy Uba by the people of Old Aguata Union ( OAU) comprising of party faithful and stakeholders across all political platforms from Orumba North, South and Aguata LGA of Anambra State, the DG urged the people of Anambra state to ignore the propaganda machinery of APGA whom have gone paranoid in the last few days accusing the APC of planning to rig the forthcoming election. The DG emphatically stated that the party has no such plan as the party is that of Progressives who believe in the ideals of democracy”
” This is not the first time the APC has contested an election in Anambra state. We have lost elections and at no point have we ever tried to rig or manipulate the system. When we lose, we quietly go home and do a prognosis. We have learnt significant lessons from our previous failures at the poll, we have found out the problem and will correct it in November 2021. We will campaign harder than we have ever done, we will speak to every Anambra person. We will go beyond the wards and campaign down to the Umunna. I am sure Ndi Anambra Will listen to us”
Speaking further ” Sen. Andy Uba is the perfect candidate for Ndi Anambra. His experience in administration is beyond the reach of other candidates so also his understanding of governance. From day one he will get to work without learning the ropes, the other candidates will take 4 years to learn the ropes, hence wasting a whole 4 years. Beside, the APC has done well in terms of infrastructure for Ndi Anambra and if Anambra truly needs an Infrastructural renewal the APC is their best bet” he added.
Sen. Andy Uba who came into Anambra to begin his gubernatorial campaign was received by a massive crowd of supporters at Awka before heading to Ekwulobia Township Stadium where he was received by the people of Aguata and finally received by the people of Uga who hosted him to a dinner in his residence.
