365Daily – Despite litigations and internal crisis rocking the Anambra Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), its factional candidate for the gubernatorial election, Valentine Ozigbo, has boasted that no one can stop him from being the flagbearer of the party come November 6.
Ozigbo, who spoke during the celebration of the 40 years of priestly ordination of the Catholic Archbishop of Onitsha, His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Valerian Okeke at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity field, Onitsha, Anambra State, over the weekend, said him and the PDP were unstoppable in their bid to clinch the coveted governorship seat.
“Whatever God is doing, nothing can any man do. It is the final time for those who don’t have the interest of Anambra state in mind,” he stated.
Thw gubernatorial aspirant told the electorate to understand thay the party is out to win the gubernatorial election and nothing more.
“The electorate should know we are here to win the election and nothing more, we are poised to win nothing else.”
He urged them to ignore the campaign of calumny sponsored by detractors, adding that with such blackmail, “we are waxing stronger day and night.”
Ozigbo urged the people to mobilise everyone in the state to join the moving train, PDP, for a better Anambra State, describing himself as a transformer and a developer.
On the Archbishop’s celebration, he said, “Archbishop is my namesake, I am Val and he is Val. I am here to celebrate with him and wish him well.
“We wish him great partnership when I will be Governor next year. We are out to win election,” he affirmed.
