The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has eulogised veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly called RMD as he marks his 60th birthday.
In a statement he personally signed, Senator Omo-Agege joined the Nollywood family in congratulating the ace entertainer, lawyer and politician.

The Delta Central lawmaker described the respected thespian as a living legend and an icon of the Nigerian movie industry, even as he extolled his exceptional talent, skills and versatility.
According to him, RMD used Nollywood as a powerful instrument of social engineering, societal reorientation and cultural revival.
“Through the various roles he has played over the years in the countless number of movies he has featured in, Richard Mofe-Damijo has become a powerful symbol of social engineering and value reorientation,” he said.
Senator Omo-Agege prayed the almighty God to grant the veteran Nollywood actor longer life, good health.
