365Daily- The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has announced the appointment of veteran broadcaster, Mr Balarabe Ilelah, as the Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).

In a statement issued in Abuja on Friday, June 11, 2021, Mohammed said the appointment was approved by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The statement signed and made available to newsmen by the Special Assistant to the President (Media), Office of the Minister of Information and Culture, Mr  Segun Adeyemi, said Mr Ilelah’s appointment is for a five year tenure in the first instance.
