365Daily – Gunmen have killed the Senior Special Assistant on Security to Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, AIG Christopher Dega (Rtd), in Jos, Plateau State Capital.
The Nation reported that he was shot in the chest several times by gunmen on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
AIG Dega had a brilliant career in the Nigerian Police Force and was twice Commissioner of Police in Borno and Edo States, it added.
He hailed from Katsina Ala local government area in Benue State.
