We will be looking at the topic:
‘LET’S GO TO JUDAH AGAIN!’
John 11:7.
That was an awesome statement made by Jesus to His disciples when He heard that the man He loved, Lazarus was sick.
That word was a command. It was not subject to debate, irrespective of the past or present. It does suggest they had gone to Judah before, so there is an urgency that warranted them to go there again. But why Judah?
Judah is a person.
Judah is a location.
Judah is an event.
Judah means – praise!
It is an event of praise where thanksgiving, worship and adoration is offered as a sacrifice to God.
Judah is a place where the order/authority of praise springs from as we read in…
Genesis 49:10
“The sceptre (symbol, authority of praise) shall not depart from Judah…until Shiloh comes).
Until the end of days praise will be an attraction; and will remain relevant for great testimonies to happen in our lives, family, business, ministry or career.
Return to praise!
You have prayed enough, and prayer will always continue. But hear this: you can pray amiss but you can never praise amiss.
That is the difference.
David said, “Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.” Psalm 119:164
Let’s go back to Judah.
Do more of praise this May and see the wonders of God.
John 11:4
Jesus knew there is something about Judah. He knew that unusual things can happen at anytime where and when praise is engaged (Joshua 6:2-5).
When He got to Judah, where death is not permitted to reign, where praise is alive, He offered praise, in thanks; then spoke and Lazarus the dead, arose (John 11:41,43). You know why?
• Glory begins in Judah.
• Power manifests in Judah
• God is always glorified in Judah
• Needs are met in Judah
• Satan is disgraced in Judah
• No devil can stop the sacrifice of praise.
So make a switch. Switch to praise.
This new month of May, endeavour to locate the gate; the door; the place of praise and enter it with full force for the table to turn against the enemy (Psalm 100:4; 2 Chronicles 32:1,9,20-21).
No matter what you went through last month; no matter the odds; no matter the pressure; no matter your cries, as Jesus said…
Let’s Go To Judah Again!
