The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Customs, Yuguda Hassan Kila, is dead.
The Jigawa lawmaker who represented Gwaram Federal Constituency, died at the age of 70 on Thursday, March 4, at the National Hospital, Abuja.
A retired Comptroller of Customs, the deceased attended Kila Primary School, Igbo Union Grammar School in Kano, Barewa College, Zaria, Kaduna and College of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA.
He first got elected to the House of Representatives in 2015 under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress, APC, and was re-elected in 2019.
