An attempt by a combined team of security operatives to arrest self-acclaimed Yoruba activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, along Lagos Ibadan expressway caused chaos in the area on Friday, February 26.
According to reports, Sunday Igboho was on his way to Lagos to visit Chief Ayo Adebanjo, a Yoruba leader and an Elder stateman when he was accosted by the team.
Recall that Igboho had issued a 7-day ultimatum to killer Fulani herdsmen to vacate South-West Nigeria, following a series of kidnappings and killings in the region’s forest reserves.
