The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), FCT chapter, has announced the death of one of its members, Segun Ogunjimi.
Ogunjimi was a staff of The Nation and Sporting Life Newspapers.
The sad incident occurred on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, in his house in the outskirts of Abuja.
He was said to have slumped and was later confirmed dead at a hospital in Mararaba, Abuja.
Ikenna Okonkwo, FCT SWAN Secretary, said that the association received the news with great shock and sadness, that many of the colleagues of the late journalist in Abuja were still in shock.
Ogunjimi had once served as SWAN Treasurer in FCT.
