President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday led top government officials and members of the diplomatic corps to the laying of wreath ceremony in honour of Nigeria’s fallen heroes.
The event marked the end of the 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day activities which started with the launching of the remembrance emblem last year.
Buhari was accompanied by his vice, Yemi Osinbajo; Senate President Ahmed Lawan and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammadu and all security chiefs were also in attendance at the National Arcade, Three Arms Zone, Abuja.
