The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has commended the Governor of Sokoto State for consistently executing projects in the state.
Secondus stated this on Wednesday when he led the PDP NWC on the inspection of projects being executed by Governor Tambuwal.
He said the projects by the state government were even more notable because they had direct impact on the lives of the citizenry.
Speaking when he led members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) to inspect some projects being undertaken by the administration, the chairman described the governor as a visionary who the PDP is proud of.
The delegation visited the ongoing Sokoto State University Teaching Hospital (SOSUTH) project which was designed to not only serve the people of Sokoto State when completed, but the entire North-West geo-political zone, the nation at large and even neighbouring countries, the Special Adviser of Media and Publicity to the Governor, Muhammad Bello, said in a statement issued on Wednesday.
He added, ”The NWC also inspected the Government Girls Science Academy, Kasarawa, the completed Advanced Diagnosis Centre and the on-going 500 Housing Estate at Gidan Salanke.
”Other projects the party bigwigs inspected include the General Hospital, Wamakko, the dualisation of intra-city Maituta and Waziri Abbas roads in the state capital.
”Pointing out the SOSUTH project, the PDP Chairman said: ‘this is one of the best project the PDP can showcase in the country.'”
On his part, PDP National secretary, Senator Umar Tsauri, while commenting on the Advanced Diagnosis Centre, commended the governor for the giants stride he had recorded and urged other PDP governors to emulate him.

Also speaking at the Government Girls Science Academy which is still under construction, the PDP National Women Leader, Hajiya Mariya Waziri Gwandu, thanked the governor for improving girl-child education, just as she commended him for allowing the participation of women in the governance of the state.
