The mace of Ogun State House of Assembly has been recovered by members of the police force in Lagos.
The mace was recovered at Abule-Oshun, along Badagry, Friday afternoon.
The mace, according to report, is being taken to the office of the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu.
Recall there was controversy over the missing mace on Thursday when the leadership of the State House of Assembly denied knowledge of any stolen mace, but the police insisted the mace was missing.
